About the role

We design and deliver solutions, powered by intelligent software, to optimize fast, accurate, and cost-effective order fulfillment and last-mile delivery. This role is responsible for leading the electrical installation of parcel conveying systems, interfacing with the electrical PE, project manager, and customer to successfully complete projects.
Responsibilities
- Understand and execute the electrical installation specific to the project manager’s plan.
- Be familiar with installation drawings, track and stage materials, and plan tasks by crew.
- Understand and execute to the schedule while providing field interface with customer’s project representative(s).
- Develop and maintain the project installation plan, including contract change orders and customer specifications/standards.
- Provide technical support for vendors, field installation personnel, and engineering subcontractors.
- Communicate project-specific information with other MHS departments (project management, purchasing, electrical engineering, field installation, and fabrication).
- Create material purchase requests and relay information regarding changes to the scope of work.
- Maintain project-specific requirements while applying general knowledge of conveying systems, equipment, and customer specifications.
- Identify areas for professional development, cost reduction, quality improvements, and enhanced customer service.
- Review drawings provided by electrical designers for accuracy and provide feedback for corrections.
Key Results:
- Meet engineering deadlines as set by the customer and MHS project management.
- Understand project material requirements and submit purchase requests to meet the installation schedule.
Requirements
- Five years of material handling electrical installation experience.
- A state electrical license.
- Knowledge of low and medium voltage power systems and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read, understand, and apply customer specifications.
- Strong communication skills with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
- Detail-oriented with a track record of producing above-average results.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and set priorities.
- Willingness to travel to jobsites and customer meetings as required.
Pay
The base hourly range for this role is $36.58 - $60.96. The actual base rate offered will vary based on factors including location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
