Electrical Superintendent

Our employee-owned company has an immediate full-time opening in South Carolina. This position will work within Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal businesses and be part of a growing team.

About the role

We are seeking a decisive leader with a passion for hands-on work in outdoor environments and a strong drive for construction project management. You must thrive in a team-based setting and be ready to contribute immediately.

Responsibilities

• Effectively use all resources and lead/oversee craft workers assigned to specific areas of responsibility.
• Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc. Document all violations, notify project management, and recommend/implement corrective actions as required.
• Conduct accident investigations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards.
• Motivate others to achieve objectives.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, etc.).
• Effectively plan and organize the work for which you are responsible.
• Keep a daily job journal detailing actual events.
• Plan ahead for materials, tools, and information.
