Job Duties

  • Effectively use all resources and lead/oversee craft workers assigned to specific areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc.
  • Document all violations, notify project management, and recommend/implement correction actions as required.
  • Conduct accident investigations as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, etc.
  • Motivate others to achieve objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, etc.).
  • Effectively plan and organize the work for which you are responsible.
  • Keep daily job journal detailing actual events.
  • Plan ahead for materials, tools, and information.
