About the role
The Electrical Superintendent oversees all electrical operations within the company, ensuring compliance with safety standards and adherence to project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily electrical activities and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage electrical projects from planning through completion, coordinating with other departments as needed.
- Ensure all electrical work meets industry standards and company policies.
- Train and mentor new employees in electrical practices and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain quality control and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical management or construction.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in OSHA safety standards and NFPA codes.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with electrical systems design and installation.
- Knowledge of electrical testing and inspection techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
