Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple concurrent electrical construction projects, with primary responsibility for utility interconnection and AC work on commercial solar installations, BESS, and EV charger installation projects.
- Provide leadership and direction to Foremen and field crews, ensuring alignment with project goals, schedules, and company standards.
- Cook up manpower, materials, and equipment across projects to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control standards are consistently met across all job sites.
- Conduct regular site visits and audits to reinforce safety compliance, workmanship quality, and operational consistency.
- Support and mentor Foremen and crew members, developing leadership capability within the field team.
- Collaborate with project managers and operations leadership to ensure effective communication and execution of project plans.
- Oversee documentation including job tracking, labor reporting, and progress updates to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Maintain strong client relationships through periodic site interaction and participation in key project walk-throughs.
- Ensure all projects adhere to plan sets, specifications, and applicable codes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot complex project and operational issues, providing strategic solutions across multiple sites.
- Enforce consistent job site organization, cleanliness, and professionalism across all crews.
- Uphold strict safety practices with a goal of achieving zero incidents company-wide.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational success.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Journeyman Electrician, with a strong background in commercial electrical systems.
- Proven experience managing multiple crews and/or projects simultaneously (Foreman or equivalent leadership role required).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments.
- Able to effectively manage resources, schedules, and personnel across multiple job sites.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, leadership, and field teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with project management software and blue beam is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks.
