Birmingham Electrical Contractors (BEC) is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Superintendent to lead commercial electrical construction projects throughout the Birmingham area. Responsibilities Lead and supervise multiple commercial electrical projects simultaneously.Manage field crews while promoting a positive, productive, and safety-focused work environment.Coordinate manpower, schedules, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet project milestones.Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals.Communicate project updates, scheduling needs, and change orders with project management.Perform quality control inspections, punch list management, and ensure work meets company standards.Oversee low-voltage terminations and installations when required.Mentor and develop foremen and field personnel.Utilize Microsoft Excel along with company-issued iPhones and iPads for reporting, documentation, and timekeeping.Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all company safety policies.Assist with project closeout, as-built documentation, and final turnover. Qualifications 10+ years of commercial electrical experience.A valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license/card.Proven experience managing multiple commercial electrical projects simultaneously.Experience leading and supervising electrical crews.Experience with low-voltage terminations.Strong understanding of project scheduling and meeting deadlines.Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and construction documents.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.OSHA 30 Certification (preferred).Dependable work history and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
