Electrical Site Engineer-Substation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with deep expertise in substation projects. You will be responsible for end-to-end activities at customer sites, including site mobilization, civil construction, equipment erection, and final commissioning. This role involves comprehensive site management and directly impacts the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of our project delivery. You will operate with moderate autonomy, exercising high-level operational judgment to shape priorities and drive performance across our functional organization.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in the execution of hands-on substation erection, electrical installation, testing, commissioning support, and related site activities during the ITO and/or OTR phase, acting under the direction of the Site Manager and project leadership.
• May lead site activities or smaller projects with virtual supervision from the Site Manager.
• Ensures schedule, quality, and cost are in compliance with contractual obligations, company policy and local regulations.
• Develops specialized knowledge in their discipline.
• Serves as best practice/quality resource.
• Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area.
• Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.

Requirements

• Must be able to travel extensively within the United States.
• Significant experience in electrical construction, substation erection, site execution, commissioning activities, and/or site leadership.
• Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• Bachelor's Degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience for roles in USA.

Pay

The pay range for this position is between $100,000.00 and $166,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
