Electrical Services Technician 2

What you'll do

• You'll be based out of our Baltimore, MD service center and can expect to work in the field with up to 75% travel.
• Specialize in working on both low, medium, and high voltage switchgear including breakers with relays, motor starters, VFD’s, load break switches, transformers, load banks, and batteries.
• Install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment. Inspect circuits for specified shielding and grounding.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.

Who you are

• A high school diploma or GED or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training
• Proven knowledge of the principles of electricity and electrical design
• 8+ years of formal technical training
• 10+ years’ experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical switchgear, this will include both low volt and medium voltage power distribution gear. Should have knowledge with protection relays and meters
• A positive, self- starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent quality
• A valid driver's license
• The ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
