Electrical Service Technician (Wednesday - Sunday Shift)

Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems in residential properties
• Perform general electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving electrical issues
• Inspect, diagnose, and replace faulty electrical equipment, wiring, or fixtures, ensuring the proper operation of all electrical systems
• Inspect and perform corrective maintenance on circuit breakers and transformers to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints to accurately install or repair electrical systems
• Ensure all electrical work complies with national electrical codes and state and local building regulations
• Engage with customers, explaining the issues, solutions, and outcomes clearly, while recommending additional products and services for optimal system performance
• Track repairs, maintenance, and service calls through Service Titan software, ensuring detailed and accurate documentation
• Follow safety protocols to ensure all work is performed in a safe manner, protecting both the customer and team members

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Residential Electrical Service Technician or a similar role
• Licensing: Valid electrical license, if required by state or local regulations
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components, with proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues
• Service Software: Experience with Service Titan or similar trade software is a plus
• Attention to Detail: Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance with electrical codes
• Customer-Focused: Strong communication skills to explain electrical issues and solutions clearly to customers
