Electrical Service Technician/Residential Electrician

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential electrical issues efficiently and safely
• Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems and components
• Ensure all work complies with Virginia and NEC electrical codes
• Perform service, replacement, and upgrade work including panels, circuits, outlets, lighting, and safety devices
• Clearly explain findings, recommendations, and solutions to homeowners
• Maintain accurate documentation and job records
• Collaborate with dispatch, management, and support teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of residential electrical experience
• Strong working knowledge of residential wiring, circuits, and systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues independently
• Familiarity with local and national electrical codes
• Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Confident decision-maker in a fast-paced service environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Company policy requires all drivers to be at least 21 years old.)
