Key Responsibilities
- Inspect electrical installations (underground duct banks, cable tray systems, cable bus systems, wall rough-ins) for compliance with project specifications and NEC requirements.
- Perform delivery and equipment inspections to verify condition and documentation.
- Support inspections and testing of low- and medium-voltage cable installations.
- Verify torque, termination, and workmanship of electrical equipment.
- Document and track inspections using quality systems such as CxAlloy, Nexus, Procore, or ACC.
- Cookordination with field, commissioning, and project management teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Maintain strong knowledge of electrical codes and compliance requirements.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and project specifications accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of construction or field quality inspection experience (electrical preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience using Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent technical documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to relocate for future projects preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience on data center or mission-critical projects.
- Understanding of data center power distribution and critical electrical infrastructure.
- Familiarity with commissioning workflows, inspection processes, and turnover documentation.
Work Environment
Primarily a field-based role on active construction sites with occasional office work. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and during peak project hours as needed.
