Wachter is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee Critical Power and Industrial Electrical projects. You will manage high-volume commercial electrical accounts throughout all five phases of the project life cycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, and closeout. This role serves as a primary face of the company, requiring exceptional customer relations, technical knowledge, and operational leadership. Medical, Dental, Prescription & Vision BenefitsLife, AD&D, and LTD insurancePaid Vacation and HolidaysCompany-Matched 401(k) and IRA Retirement Savings Key Responsibilities: Project & Account Management Plan, grow, oversee, and direct high-volume commercial electrical accountsManage project scheduling, billing, and logistical supportReview customer specifications, contracts, and cost estimatesCreate and maintain comprehensive project filesEnsure all projects adhere to company safety standards and OSHA requirements Financial & Estimating Operations Manage the process of sourcing, evaluating, and estimating bid opportunitiesCreate bid sheets, contractual proposals, and project budgetsMonitor budgets, resources, and overall project progressProvide weekly and monthly financial forecasting and revenue projection reports Supply Chain & Quality Control Order all materials and equipment for assigned projectsPerform quality and safety audits on all materials and equipment Team Leadership & Operations Oversee daily operational tasks including interviewing, hiring, and payroll approvalAssign resources and delegate tasks effectively through team resourcesPerform site walks, surveys, and technical training at customer locationsBuild rapport and maintain day-to-day communication with clients and stakeholders Job Requirements: Experience & Education Experience: Minimum 2 years of project management experience requiredTechnical Background: Electrical experience is strictly requiredEducation: College education preferred, but not requiredIndustry Experience: Project management in Construction, Technology, or related fields is helpful Technical Skills Proficiency with computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft OfficeAbility to type at least 40 WPMExperience working with engineered drawings, bid specifications, and construction take-offs is helpful. Preferred Specialized Knowledge (Pluses) Experience with CAT5 systemsExperience with Critical Power systems Core Competencies Proven experience in crew management, quoting, and material orderingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and consistent follow-upProven ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentHigh standard of quality and professionalism About: Wachter is a family-owned company since 1930 and we see each employee as a critical piece of the Wachter Family.
