Responsibilities

  • Estimate / design and manage electrical projects ranging from $10,000 to $1 million.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, resulting in trust and long term, repeat business opportunities.
  • Ability to identify clients' electrical needs and develop / design NEC compliant solutions that will meet current and future needs.
  • Ensure open and effective communication with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, engineers, etc.
  • Perform accurate and timely estimates using Accubid software.
  • Present scope & pricing in concise, detailed proposals.
  • When required, develop, submit and gain AHJ approval of drawings, load calculations, etc.
  • Negotiate with clients and suppliers when necessary to arrive at an equitable outcome.
  • Effectively oversee and manage all facets of projects, including but not limited to schedules, labor / material budgets, subcontractors, etc.
  • Ensure overall success and profitability of projects.
  • Ensure that all work is completed according to Prism safety and quality standards.
  • Always perform all facets of a job with the highest standard of ethics.

Requirements

  • Proven people management, process management, and performance management skills.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting, employee motivation and training, leadership and office management skills, and customer acquisition and relations.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong budget tracking, labor tracking, and scheduling skills.
  • Proficiency in information analyzation and budget setup.
