Electrical Project Manager
About the role
PureGrid Electrical is seeking a Project Manager with strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills. The ideal candidate will manage mid-sized industrial electrical projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion while maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring tasks are completed safely and on schedule
- Serve as a point of contact for field operations, providing necessary plans and support
- Track and expedite long-lead electrical equipment, coordinate material delivery, and ensure supplier quality
- Maintain project budgets, process billings, manage subcontracts, and handle potential scope changes
- Facilitate regular project alignment meetings with various stakeholders
- Maintain organized project records, manage RFIs, submittals, and drawing updates
Requirements
- 3-7 years of Project Management or Assistant Project Manager experience in electrical subcontracting
- Exposure to industrial electrical or commercial design-build projects
- Solid foundational understanding of medium-to-heavy industrial electrical work, power distribution equipment, and construction blueprints
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on trade experience
- Strong proficiency with modern construction management tools, including Procore and Bluebeam
