Electrical Project Engineer - Programming/Control Systems

Responsibilities

• Configure programs for control of industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Work to refine contract details.
• Oversee the creation of electrical contract drawings.
• Write manuals explaining the configured control logic.
• Provide start up support for executed contracts.
• Ability to share productivity enhancements found with other Project Engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field highly preferred.
• 5-10 years of related experience REQUIRED.
• 5+ years of experience with HMI/SCADA and discrete logic preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial refrigeration, panel building, electrical drafting, PLC programming, and/or VBA scripting is preferred.
• Experience/Exposure To The Following:
  • Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Standard Controllers
  • RSLinx™ 5000 programming software
  • Automatic CAD
  • Ethernet/RS-485 communications
  • XML/VB/PLC/SCADA
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word) Experience/Exposure.

Pay

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
