ELECTRICAL PRODUCTION DESIGN TECHNICAL CHECKER

About the role

The purpose of this position is to provide experienced technical checking support for electrical production design activities associated with ship construction. The Technical Checker will be responsible for independently reviewing electrical production-design deliverables for technical accuracy, completeness, constructability, coordination, and compliance with applicable engineering and production requirements prior to release. This position requires an experienced marine electrical design professional capable of contributing immediately with minimal training or supervision. The position is not intended to be an entry-level, developmental, or general electrical drafting position.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of professional electrical design or engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of direct shipyard, marine, naval, or shipboard electrical design experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting ship production or new-construction vessel programs.
• Demonstrated experience performing technical checking, peer review, quality assurance, or equivalent design verification activities
