What You Will Be Doing
- Independently troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in golf ball manufacturing equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on complex production equipment
- Rebuild and calibrate electromechanical devices
- Collaborate with Engineering to design or adapt equipment for evolving production needs
- Plan work efficiently to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Test and calibrate instruments to meet performance standards
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through effective communication with team members and leaders
What You Bring
Must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:
- 100% completion of TPC curriculum and 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting
- Approved technical associate degree or certificate in an electrical/electronic discipline and 3+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 7 years of industrial electrical experience in a skilled trade (without formal post-secondary education); must complete TPC training for any identified skill gaps
Additional qualifications:
- Formal training in AC/DC circuits and basic PLC functionality
- Experience with instrumentation, controls, and mechanical systems
- Proficient in reading blueprints, electrical/hydraulic schematics, and using measuring tools and tolerances
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and machine tools (e.g., drills, lathes, millers)
- Strong troubleshooting, installation, and repair skills for machinery and equipment
- Working knowledge of safety practices including Lockout/Tagout and NFPA 70E
- Must provide own trade tools
- Strong work ethic, including reliable attendance
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must adhere to safety, quality, and organizational policies and demonstrate respect for others
- Must pass all required Health Services testing for the position
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking), basic math, and computer use
