About the role

Provides electrical conduit bending and wiring support for the final assembly department. The role involves daily manufacturing responsibilities expected to be carried out with minimal supervision. Some tasks are team-based, while others require individual prioritization and scheduling. A good working relationship with both office and factory employees is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Bend and install conduit (Rigid, IMC, EMT) with minimal supervision
  • Pull and terminate wiring to electrical devices
  • Read and comprehend shop drawings and schematics
  • Maintain flexibility with assigned tasks
  • Lead electrical helpers to achieve assigned tasks
  • Understand and follow proper safety instructions
  • Work in a team environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, or related experience in electrical services as determined by the plant manager
  • Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish
  • Good verbal communication skills with employees
  • Positive attitude and open-minded with a vision for continuous improvement
  • Ability to take on more responsibility as the business grows
  • Diverse knowledge of shop drawings and schematics
  • Ability to understand and follow schedules

Skills

  • Willingness to travel is a plus
