Electrical Maintenance Technician II

About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain, service, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems used in utilities and facilities areas. The role involves working on a variety of electrical equipment, from lighting systems to power distribution and motors.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on all commercial and industrial equipment, including:
  • Variable Frequency Drives
  • Motors and Controls
  • Power Distribution Systems
  • Lighting Management Systems
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on a large variety of equipment, including infrared scanning and static bonding and grounding.
• Communicate the status of ongoing work activities via email, voicemail, and the maintenance management system (Maximo).
• Work with voltages up to 13,200 (minimum experience with 480 volts required).
• Complete all necessary training requirements, including scheduled training, computer-based training, and any other training identified in the development plan.
• Develop techniques to ensure newly acquired or developed equipment performs in accordance with required specifications.
• Assist in establishing and documenting appropriate job plans and service protocols.
• Ensure GxP and safe work policies and procedures are followed and maintained in accordance with company policies.
• Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Group Leader, Supervisor, or Senior Supervisor.

Requirements

• Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
• High School diploma with 5+ years of experience, or a relevant certificate with 3+ years of experience, or an Associate’s Technical degree with 1+ years of experience.

Schedule

Shift is 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
