About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain, service, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems used in utilities and facilities areas. The role involves working on a variety of electrical equipment, from lighting systems to power distribution and motors.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on all commercial and industrial equipment, including:
- Variable Frequency Drives
- Motors and Controls
- Power Distribution Systems
- Lighting Management Systems
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on a large variety of equipment, including infrared scanning and static bonding and grounding.
- Communicate the status of ongoing work activities via email, voicemail, and the maintenance management system (Maximo).
- Work with voltages up to 13,200 (minimum experience with 480 volts required).
- Complete all necessary training requirements, including scheduled training, computer-based training, and any other training identified in the development plan.
- Develop techniques to ensure newly acquired or developed equipment performs in accordance with required specifications.
- Assist in establishing and documenting appropriate job plans and service protocols.
- Ensure GxP and safe work policies and procedures are followed and maintained in accordance with company policies.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Group Leader, Supervisor, or Senior Supervisor.
Requirements
- Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
- High School diploma with 5+ years of experience, or a relevant certificate with 3+ years of experience, or an Associate’s Technical degree with 1+ years of experience.
Schedule
Shift is 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
