Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Well-known, industry-leading manufacturer in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. Relocation assistance is available and opportunities for advancement.

About the role

This position offers a competitive salary up to $110,000 per year plus a 15% annual bonus. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve electrical, automation, PLC, and motor drive systems
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for level 1 PLCs, control systems, regulating systems, and industrial motor drives
• Analyze and repair complex electrical and control system issues affecting production, quality, and safety
• Lead and manage electrical projects, including PLC installations, upgrades, vendor coordination, cost tracking, scheduling, and commissioning
• Apply best practices in process automation, feedback devices, instrumentation, AC/DC motor control, and power distribution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an Associate's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial electrical experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, controls, or automation within a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment
• Understanding of automation architectures, industrial communication networks, and AC/DC motor control principles
• Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance

Pay

$100,000 - $110,000 per year plus a 15% annual bonus
