Electrical Kit Assembler

Responsibilities and Duties

• Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
• Deliver internal orders to workstations.
• Utilization of work order processing software.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training.
• Absorb all OSHA safety requirements including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean workstation and production facility.
• Aid in performance of periodic departmental and facility wide inventories.
• Aid in periodic facility expansion and upgrade projects.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools, automobile mechanics and electrical systems.
• Ability to individually lift 50-100 pounds.
• Ability to be on feet and physically active in a non-environmentally controlled plant facility for 8-hour shift including bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting.
• Ability to judge distances and read signs.
• Detail oriented.
• Verbal comprehension (understand oral and written communications).
• Communication skills (provide clear instructions/directions).
• Reasoning skills (problem solving and troubleshooting skills).
