About the Role

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures while ensuring work complies with relevant codes.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures
• Ensure the proper functioning of all electrical units in the facility
• Perform scheduled checks to identify malfunctions
• Comply with all safety norms and regulations
• Use and handle electrical testing and repair equipment appropriately
• Complete tasks as assigned by the supervising manager
• Maintain records of electrical inventories and order spare parts and equipment
• Log electrical repair and maintenance works
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 4+ years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• NCCER Certification/License (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project-specific regulations
• Active participation in daily toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors when on-site
• Set a personal example of safe behavior
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using units of weight, measurement, and volume
• Apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
• Ability to work within precise standards of accuracy and follow set procedures and standards

Physical Demands

• Work up to a 12-hour shift performing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions
• Maintain physical strength and stamina; use arms, hands, and legs fully
• Push, pull, and frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Stoop, kneel, balance, crouch, crawl, and climb to perform job tasks
• Perform repetitive tasks continuously for several-hour intervals
• Work in uncontrolled environmental conditions with constant changes in weather and site conditions
• Moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises
• Wear personal protective equipment (e.g., safety-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest)
• Move in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas
• Work at heights and comply with all safety and fall-protection requirements; wear and utilize all required safety equipment
• Evaluate information based on measurable standards and recognize slight differences in shapes and shadings
• Visualize objects in three dimensions from drawings
• Maintain good balance while working at heights
• See well (naturally or with correction)
• Hear well (naturally or with correction)
• Coordinate the use of eyes, hands, and feet

Schedule

Full-time position, typically scheduled to work 50 hours per week. Schedule is subject to project requirements.

Travel required up to 90%. Position requires presence directly on the Project Site location with intermittent travel to residence of record.

Pay

$43.00 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential.
