Electrical Journeyman - Chester
About the role
Amteck is currently seeking Electricians for their project located in Chester, VA. They offer long-term employment opportunities, benefits, and a 401K plan. Upon completion, employees may transition to other projects within Amteck.
Responsibilities
- Install conduit, wire, and cable systems as required
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Install and terminate panels, switchboards, and other electrical equipment
- Perform troubleshooting and repair on faulty circuits, equipment, or systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites
- OSHA10 certification preferred but not required
Qualifications
In addition to the requirements listed above, candidates should possess:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
