Electrical Internship

About the role

This position is to provide engineering experience for a qualified student nearing graduation. Intern will work on routine assignments as a member of a project team, under the technical supervision of a professional engineer. Exposure to a cross section of project types will assist in selecting a career path. Student intern will learn how to design mechanical or electrical systems for new or renovated buildings. Student intern will be assigned at various times during the internship to projects in Commercial, Education, Healthcare, and Science and Technology business sectors.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic engineering tasks for a variety of project types.
• Assist in miscellaneous engineering assignments, such as site surveys and construction observations.
• Use computer tools necessary for our business, such as AutoCAD and HVAC load calculation software, and other technical software.

Requirements

• Minimum of two or three years of course work in an accredited mechanical or electrical engineering college.

Skills

• Understanding of engineering principles and technical problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
