Electrical & Instrumentation Technician - Level 3
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment status.
- Know how to read single line electrical diagrams.
- Know how to trace electrical systems.
- Know how to troubleshoot PLCs and DCSs.
- Utilize SAP to plan work, track progress, and order parts.
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues and implement improvements.
- Know how to trouble HVAC units that are not working correctly.
- Know how to determine correct wire requirements and electricity requirements based on end electrical use.
- Understand when and how to do ground fault checks along with megger testing.
Qualifications
- YOU MUST HAVE 5+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for system analysis.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in electrical maintenance.
- We value Electrical and Instrumentation Technician training/apprenticeship.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electrical systems.
Pay
The annual base pay range for this position is $54,007 to $67,534. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
