Responsibilities
- Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment.
- Follow PJHA process, Observation process, and comply with all company/site safety guidelines and procedures.
- Work without direct supervision on daily assigned tasks.
- Maintain compliance with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure process control loop troubleshooting using specialized testing equipment.
- Calibrate and document functions related to flow measurement, level measurement, pressure, temperature, and analytical instrumentation.
- Operate and have knowledge of simple and complex heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, boom lifts, and skid loaders.
- Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical components and equipment including lighting, motors, inverters, soft starts, and wye-delta systems.
- Use industrial powered vehicles (RTFL, Forklift, Aerial Lift, Scissor Lift).
- Maintain personal tools required for the job.
- Perform accurate and timely administrative duties.
- Maintain positive customer and employee relations.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain State Journeyman Electrical License upon meeting state required qualifications.
- Ability to obtain ISA’s CCST Level 1 Certification.
- Experience: 5+ years of electrical and controls experience and/or 4+ years of education in Electronics or Industrial Electricity preferred.
- Current valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain State Journeyman Electrical License upon meeting state required qualifications.
- Ability to obtain ISA’s CCST Level 1 Certification.
- Experience: 5+ years of electrical and controls experience and/or 4+ years of education in Electronics or Industrial Electricity preferred.
- Current valid driver’s license.
Skills
- Knowledge of industrial electrical components and equipment.
- Knowledge of schematics, mathematics, preventive/predictive technologies.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Safe electrical test and measurement best practices.
- Working knowledge of NECA 101 standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot process control loops.
- Ability to operate and have knowledge of simple and complex heavy industrial equipment.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated areas.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment.
