Electrical & Instrumentation Specialist - PLC Controls

About the role

Own the controls side of a diverse mill operation, from paper machines to boilers and automated warehouse systems.

Must-Haves

• 1 to 3+ years in industrial electrical maintenance
• PLC and DCS programming
• Instrumentation and sensor troubleshooting
• Engineering degree, vocational controls certificate, or equivalent experience

What You'll Do

• Program and repair PLCs, HMIs, drives, and control systems across the plant.
• Support shutdowns, capital installs, and reliability programs like thermography and motor analysis.
• Keep programs backed up and documentation current while advising operations and maintenance teams.

Nice-to-Haves

• Paper or heavy industrial experience
• Robotics or motion control

$90,000 to $95,000/yr
