Electrical Installation Supervisor

About the role

This position offers the opportunity to work on different customer projects and locations across the continental USA. The employee must be willing to travel 100% to customer sites and may be based anywhere in the continental USA.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation quality on the project site, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality
• Complete quality checklists and submit Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified
• Oversee on-site safety, including safety audits
• Assist with routine equipment trial runs to ensure compliance with specifications and Dematic standards
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to the project manager and/or customer
• Assist with training contract labor and subcontractors in the installation of Dematic and other material handling equipment
• Write concise, clear, and complete trip reports within the required timeframe per Dematic procedures
• Identify problems as they occur and suggest appropriate solutions for non-complex issues
• Travel on short notice and spend up to 100% of time traveling; must be available on call and willing to travel accordingly
• Physically navigate large construction sites, including pushing, pulling, crawling, squatting, and walking in various climates and conditions
• Lift at least 50 lbs

Requirements

• Minimum ten years of experience in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment
• Service experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required; Associate's Degree preferred
• Experience with quality assurance
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts with overtime compensation offered
• Knowledge of personal computers, database functions, and communications
• Understanding of personal computer hardware setup and software configuration required
• Possession of a valid driver's license

Pay

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $42,000 - $95,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
