Electrical Installation Supervisor

About the Role

Dematic is seeking a talented Electrical Supervisor to join a growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse customer projects and locations across the continental USA. The role requires 100% travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation quality on project sites, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality.
• Manage quality checklists and submit Corrective Actions for identified discrepancies.
• Oversee on-site safety, including conducting safety audits.
• Assist with equipment trial runs to ensure compliance with specifications and Dematic standards.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to project managers and/or customers.
• Train contract labor and subcontractors in the installation of Dematic and other material handling equipment.
• Write clear and concise trip reports within required timeframes.
• Identify and resolve problems as they arise, suggesting appropriate solutions.
• Travel on short notice and spend up to 100% of time traveling, including being on call.
• Perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, crawling, squatting, and walking around large construction sites in various climates and conditions.
• Lift at least 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of experience in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Preferred service experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Experience with quality assurance.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts with OT compensation.
• Knowledge of personal computers, database functions, and communications.
• Understanding of personal computer hardware setup and software configuration.
• Possess a valid driver's license.

Pay

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $42,000 - $95,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
