Electrical Installation Supervisor

Dematic is seeking a talented Electrical Supervisor to join a growing team. The employee may be based anywhere in the continental USA but must be willing to travel 100% to customer locations and work on different customer projects and sites.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation quality on the project site, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality.
• Maintain quality checklists and submit corrective actions when discrepancies are identified.
• Ensure on‑site safety, including conducting safety audits.
• Assist with routine equipment trial runs to verify specifications and ensure equipment is installed to Dematic standards.
• Provide on‑site reporting on schedule and resources to the project manager and/or customer.
• Assist in training contract labor and subcontractors on the installation of Dematic and other material‑handling equipment.
• Write concise, clear, and complete trip reports within the required time frame according to Dematic procedures.
• Identify problems as they occur and suggest appropriate steps to resolve non‑complex issues.
• Travel on short notice, spending up to 100% of time on the road; be on call and travel accordingly.
• Perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, crawling, squatting, and walking around large construction sites in various climates and conditions.
• Lift at least 50 lb.

Requirements

• Minimum ten years of experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Service experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Experience with quality assurance.
• OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lb.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and off‑shifts (overtime compensation offered).
• Proficiency with personal computers, database functions, and communications.
• Understanding of personal computer hardware setup and software configuration.
• Valid driver’s license.

Pay

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $42,000 – $95,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
