Electrical High Voltage/Low Voltage Field Service Technician I

Responsibilities

• Support Level 2 and Level 3 technicians on maintenance, retrofits, and commissioning activities
• Aid with high and low voltage maintenance tasks and basic system checks
• Execute routine inspection and testing activities including IR scans, repairs, grounding tests, and Z32 testing
• Perform planned maintenance and assist with troubleshooting under supervision
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, parts usage, and findings
• Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and use of PPE
• Communicate job status and escalate issues appropriately
• Support of all other field activities

Requirements

• Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude
• Developing ability to read schematics and technical documentation
• Strong safety awareness and discipline
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Must be a team player, willing to work with others in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate/advanced computer skills

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience or technical training
• Electrical Apprentice, Electrical Journeyman, CET, EIT, ASCT required
