Electrical Helper - Single Family

About the role

The Electrical Helper is responsible for assisting with electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work while supporting daily operations and project activities. This role works closely with employees, customers, vendors, and leadership to ensure electrical systems are installed and maintained safely, accurately, and in compliance with company and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical systems and equipment.
• Review project plans, specifications, and work orders to support project execution.
• Support diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes.
• Coordinate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding project activities and operational needs.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work and project activities.
• Support project timelines and assist with resolving operational concerns in the field.
• Monitor equipment, materials, and job site conditions to support operational efficiency and safety.
• Assist senior technicians and support field operations as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication throughout all customer and operational interactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum education: None (high school diploma or GED preferred).
• Minimum years of experience: 0‑2 years (previous electrical installation, maintenance, or construction experience preferred; experience within construction, operations, or service environments preferred).
• Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.
• License required: Yes.
• Job location: US‑GA‑Suwanee.
• Physical requirements: ability to communicate in person, by phone, and email; travel as required; stand, walk, climb ladders and stairs, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach, and lift throughout the workday; sit for extended periods while driving; work on active job sites indoors and outdoors including attics, crawlspaces, confined or elevated spaces with exposure to varying weather, construction noise, dust, etc.; wear safety gear such as PPE; maintain dependable transportation and consistent attendance; ability to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends; perform all work on‑site (not remote); lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 pounds; must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without need for employer sponsorship.
