Electrical Helper
Responsibilities
- Pulling wire through conduit and making connections to electrical panels, junction boxes and other electrical components.
- Hot check trouble shoot.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, and building codes to determine electrical layouts and wiring requirements.
- Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.
- Carry, hold, and organize materials required for completing projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Communicate effectively with team members and take direction from supervisors and licensed electricians.
- Promptly report any unsafe working conditions or incidents to the appropriate person.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background and drug test.
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and work in tight spaces for extended periods.
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders, scaffolding) and in outdoor weather conditions.
