Electrical Helper

About the role

Working in the petrochemical industry installing/removing various types of electrical components, heat tracing, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
• Work from elevated heights, including mobile lifting equipment (MANLIFTS).

Requirements

• Pass a Physical, Background and Drug tests.
• Pass an electrical practical test.
• Have a state issued apprentice license.
• Have a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Card).

Qualifications

• Electrical Helper must provide their own hand tools of the trade.

Skills

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices.
