We are seeking an experienced Electrical Harness Design Specialist to support the design and development of aircraft electrical harnesses for aerospace platforms. This role involves creating detailed electrical harness designs from concept through release to manufacturing, ensuring compliance with aerospace wiring standards, program requirements, and manufacturability considerations.

About the role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience utilizing Capital Harness Design Suite, wiring architecture, connector selection, and aerospace manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed electrical harness designs from concept through release to manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace wiring standards and program requirements.
  • Support specification of harness component hardware: connectors, pins, back-shells, wire, etc.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Capital harness design software including Component Manager, Logic, and Harness modules.
  • Knowledge of aircraft wiring standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620 and AS50881 (desired).

Pay

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
