About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Project Foreman with 5+ years’ experience for projects involving commercial/industrial electrical construction. The Project Foreman is an integral part of the electrical construction process, responsible for scheduling, monitoring, and controlling the day-to-day execution of the work, progress, and performance of the project. This role also administers and controls all aspects of the site-specific safety and compliance objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Train, manage, and evaluate the project team
  • Assist the Strategic Account Manager in preparing construction schedules
  • Create, influence, and maintain schedules for proper resource utilization and material usage
  • Plan and coordinate material and logistical needs of a project efficiently
  • Create and maintain daily reports, timesheets, safety, and incident reports
  • Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and the client to identify and resolve conflicts
  • Effectively track production to meet or beat labor goals
  • Plan, organize, and direct production in accordance with the contracted scope of work
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs
  • Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure requested material is expedited and received as needed
  • Ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards
  • Build and grow partnerships with clients for continued work
  • Build/design effective layout drawings and record drawings
  • Safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts
  • Perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required by job duties

Requirements

  • Active Journeyman’s License required
  • Must maintain and enforce safety policies on jobsite
  • 5+ years of electrical construction experience, including leading large jobs in the Industrial/Commercial industry
  • Ability to oversee a crew of 10+ electricians
  • Ability to manage/oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient with the National Electrical Code
  • Exposure to Bluebeam and/or Salesforce is a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel, and familiarity with MS Teams and SharePoint
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must be able to work at project jobsites throughout the DFW/North Texas/Houston area as needed
  • Willingness to travel outside of DFW/North TX/Houston area is a plus
  • Must have an active driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle report
