Job Responsibilities
- Assigns duties based on workers' qualifications and knowledge of their skill set, monitoring project progress and keeping it on track from a safety, time, and budgetary standpoint.
- Manages the adherence and enforcement of AIREKO Energy Group safety protocol and takes responsibility for onsite hazard awareness with the General Superintendent (GS). Implements and follows company policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with other trades and general contractor/owner representative for electrical installation coordination.
- Maintains strong, positive relationships with customers.
- Manages, maintains, and approves all weekly forms and documentation, including payroll, logs, T&M tickets, reports, material requests, and schedules.
- Manages a team of 6-10 electricians and subcontractors.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ field experience in a leadership position.
- Excellent knowledge of construction operations and equipment.
- Experience and knowledge of electrical systems and familiarity with blueprints.
- Experience with solar installations and/or waste water treatment plants electrical installation is a plus.
- Good time-management skills with the ability to multi-task. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Good math skills and basic computer knowledge.
- Any additional relevant certification will be considered an advantage.
