Electrical Foreman

Key Responsibilities
- Supervises and works alongside crews to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Plans and coordinates daily work activities, assigning tasks and providing clear instructions.
- Ensures compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Interprets blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to guide accurate electrical installations.
- Collaborates with Project Managers and General Foremen to meet project deadlines and budgets.
- Maintains project records, including daily reports and work progress logs.
- Communicates effectively with other trades and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
- Ten (10) years of experience in the electrical construction industry, with leadership experience.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Experience
- Leading teams on mid- to large-scale projects.
- OR an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience that results in the successful performance of the job.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Knowledge of electrical systems, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of construction site operations and coordination.
- Skills in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues efficiently.
- Skills in reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical documents.
- Ability to supervise, train, and mentor field crews effectively.
- Ability to enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Ability to adapt to changing work conditions and project requirements.
Work Environment
A medium work environment. Indoor and outdoor work with exposure to uncomfortable and hazardous physical, ergonomic, and/or emotional environment. Work requires lifting up to 50 pounds and wearing protective equipment; exposure to environmental conditions, weather, climbing, crawling, lying, and working under pressure.
