About the Role
We are an employee-owned company with immediate full-time openings for an Electrical Foreman in the Southeast. This position will work within Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal businesses and be part of a growing team. All positions are regular, full-time and benefits eligible.
This role requires a decisive leader with a passion for hands-on work in outdoor environments and a strong drive for safely performing construction project management. You must have a desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute quickly.
Responsibilities
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise field employees assigned to electrical construction or service projects.
- Work in cooperation with other trades persons to ensure all specifications, regulations, and policies are met.
- Ensure efficient completion of projects in accordance with all standards of building codes and safety.
- Supervision and leadership of field crews.
- Production control and cost management.
- Waste elimination and customer satisfaction.
- Safety and hazard recognition and elimination.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
- Equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience can substitute.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of electrical construction experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
- Valid driver’s license and insured personal transportation required.
Skills
- Working knowledge of various construction disciplines, contract documents, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering drawings, and other documents.
- Analytical thought process to troubleshoot and resolve difficult problems.
- Ability to effectively supervise and evaluate craft performance.
- Capable of managing and leading electrical crews.
- Willingness to work overtime and/or long hours as required.
- Ability to travel for projects as needed.
Pay range depends on experience, skills, and knowledge.
