About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Field Supervisor to lead and manage residential construction projects in the Greenville, NC area. The successful candidate will oversee teams, ensure compliance with electrical codes, and contribute to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise on-site electrical teams, subcontractors, and apprentices.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate tasks to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Interpret and execute electrical drawings, blueprints, and project documentation.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes, local building codes, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular safety briefings and site inspections; maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to report on progress, workforce needs, and potential issues.
  • Provide technical guidance, hands-on support, and mentorship to crew members.
  • Order and track materials and tools required to keep projects moving efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on residential electrical experience (single-family homes).
  • Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in the field.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Knowledge of residential electrical code compliance and safety best practices.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions typical of outdoor residential construction sites.
  • Primarily field-based role on active residential construction job sites in the Greenville, NC area.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions including heat, cold, humidity, and rain.
  • Exposure to construction noise, dust, and building materials.
  • Fast-paced, production-driven setting requiring strong leadership and safety oversight.
  • May require early mornings, extended hours, or occasional weekend work to meet project deadlines.
