Your Impact
As an Electrical Estimator focused on data center fit-outs, you’ll deliver accurate, competitive, and clearly documented cost estimates that drive successful project outcomes. Your expertise ensures that our mission-critical interior buildouts are priced correctly, aligned with redundancy requirements, and executed with speed and precision.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Review drawings, one-lines, risers, specifications, and scope narratives for data center fit-out and white space projects
- Perform detailed digital takeoffs using McCormick and/or Accubid
- Develop labor, material, and equipment pricing for: RPPs, PDUs, and remote distribution overhead busway systems, rack whips, cabling, and in-row distribution, grounding and bonding systems, lighting and controls for white space and support areas, branch circuitry, panelboards, and raceway systems (tray, conduit, underfloor)
- Interpret and apply redundancy architectures (N, N+1, 2N) to interior fit-out scope
- Identify constructability constraints related to live environments, phased turnovers, and concurrent trades
- Solicit, analyze, and level vendor/manufacturer quotes
- Prepare detailed proposals, clarifications, inclusions, exclusions, and alternates
- Support design-assist and preconstruction efforts
- Participate in handoff meetings with project management and field teams
- Aid in change order pricing, GMP development, and budget updates
- Maintain and update historical cost data specific to white space and data hall buildouts
