Electrical Estimator

Job Details

• Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimation, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficient in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or Accubid
• Extensive knowledge of high voltage substations, electric power transmission, electrical transmission, and EHV transmission lines
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, products, and the construction industry

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for construction projects based on technical drawings and specifications
• Analyze and compute data related to construction projects, such as material cost, labor cost, and timeframes
• Utilize software such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or Accubid to create and modify electrical estimates
• Evaluate and recommend electrical systems and products based on specifications, test data, and customer requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand the scope and requirements of the project
• Review and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics for high-voltage substations, electrical transmission lines & distribution, and utility-scale projects
