Electrical Estimator
About the role
Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill our Electrical Estimator I position to join our team in our Boise office. This role will focus on learning estimating processes and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Aid with quantity takeoffs and measurements
- Organize drawings, specifications, and addenda
- Enter data into estimating software
- Request and track vendor pricing
- Maintain estimate files and documentation
- Support senior estimators during bid preparation
- Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude
- Actively contributes to a positive team environment
- Demonstrate dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours
- Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code
- Be a self-starter and be dependable
Requirements
- 1–3+ years electrical construction experience or related education
- Basic understanding of electrical systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Knowledge of electrical systems and construction methods
- Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with estimating software
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.
