Electrical Estimator

Privately held company, great group of people to work with. An outstanding growth-oriented opportunity. We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our team! The Estimator is responsible for preparing and completing bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Quote and manage installation and repair of electric systems
• Review blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures
• Prepare written work cost estimates for clients
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors
• Obtain multiple pricing quotes for ordering shop stock inventory

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of National Electric Code
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam Revu, and general estimating software
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills with ability to innovate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be organized
• Must be collaborative and team oriented
• Ability to combine administrative skill with the technical knowledge of electrical maintenance to provide maximum job efficiency in the office and job site
• Flexibility to prioritize based on changing needs and requirements

Experience

Estimating: 2 years (Preferred), Electrical: 5 years (Preferred)
