Electrical Estimator

Job Title: Electrical Estimator Location: Odenton, MD Salary Rate: $80,000 - $130,000 (Dependent on experience)A leading electrical contractor in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its preconstruction team. This position plays a critical role in developing accurate, competitive cost estimates for a wide range of commercial and light industrial construction projects.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed cost estimates for commercial electrical construction projects.Analyze drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documents to determine project scope and pricing.Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.Prepare bid alternates, value-engineering options, and pricing breakdowns.Solicit, review, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.Identify scope gaps, project risks, and cost-saving opportunities.Coordinate with project management and operations teams to ensure estimate accuracy and constructability.Participate in bid reviews and estimate presentations.Maintain organized estimating files, documentation, assumptions, and cost data.Prepare estimate summaries and bid packages for internal review and client submission.Qualifications3+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction, preferably within electrical contracting.Experience estimating projects ranging from $50K to $100M+.Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, materials, and construction methods.Experience with estimating and digital takeoff software; ConEst experience is highly preferred.Familiarity with both design-build and plan/spec delivery methods.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.BenefitsFull Benefits Email Your Resume In Word To Taylor.Bayek@CyberCoders.com Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
