About the Role

The Electrical Engineering Section Manager leads and supports a team of engineers working on hypersonic weapon systems, focusing on system integration, troubleshooting, and design feedback.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering teams through performance feedback, career development, and staffing activities.
• Coordinate team objectives aligned with program goals and remove blockers to ensure productivity.
• Support system-level integration, test, troubleshooting, and documentation of designs and technical data packages.
• Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and mission focus.
• Lead engineering teams, troubleshoot hardware, develop test procedures, and ensure mission objectives are met in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or high school diploma with 9+ years.
• Strong technical skills in electronics, circuit design, schematic reading, and test procedures.
• Hands-on lab experience with test equipment and environmental testing.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to balance technical duties (~90%) with management (~10%).

Preferred Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Team leadership experience.
• Experience with missile systems.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810, IEEE, and National Instruments software.
