About the Role
The Electrical Engineering Intern will be introduced to Revit to assist in the design of electrical systems, lighting layouts, power, and fire alarm systems for commercial spaces. The intern will have the opportunity to work on School, University, Healthcare, Office, or Infrastructure projects as well as visiting jobsites and learning about the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Use REVIT for system design
- Be involved in electrical system design, lighting layouts, power, and fire alarm system design for commercial spaces
- Visit construction jobsites
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn AutoCAD and REVIT
- Interest in the layout and design of electrical distribution
- Basic knowledge of lighting design and lighting controls or willingness to learn
Skills
- Ability to perform basic electrical engineering calculations
- Excellent organizational skills and extremely high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Leadership ability and entrepreneurial spirit
- Self-starter who is willing to learn and grow on a project

Location: Boston, MA
Travel: Up to 10%
Pay
The expected hourly rate for this role is $25.00 USD per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
