Electrical Engineering Instructor (Part -Time, In Person)

About the role

Develop and deliver high-quality, student-centered lectures and lab sessions that foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Create engaging and interactive lesson plans incorporating real-world examples and hands-on activities, while providing individualized support to students.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver lectures and lab sessions focused on student-centered learning
• Design engaging, interactive lesson plans with real-world examples and hands-on activities
• Provide individualized support and assistance to students as needed
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering and incorporate them into curriculum development
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow and/or create effective and engaging lesson plans
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students

Schedule

Ability to work flexible hours, typically as part of an after-school activity program.
