Electrical Engineering - Engineering Project Designer
About the role
Perform engineering duties in planning and designing electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, and fire alarms for various structures and buildings. Assist in the various design elements to complete a project, system, component, or system with other team members with clear and specified objectives involving conventional types of plans, surveys, investigations, structures, and/or equipment. Assist in preparing complete project documentation, including plans, specifications, due diligence reports, etc. Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of engineering work; work on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects using time efficiently to stay within budget and deliver on time. Interact and collaborate with clients, officials, contractors, and other project team members. Correct and update drawings and assist the project team and other staff members as required. Ensure that company technical policies and procedures are practiced during the execution of projects for clients. Perform specific engineering studies and design analyses, and assist the Project Manager in establishing budgets, cost estimates, and project schedules. Review shop drawings, record changes, and communicate as required with suppliers, contractors, and client representatives. Perform on-site inspections as required.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as an Electrical Engineering Designer and/or Electrical Design Engineer.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Visual electrical engineering software.
Qualifications
May work remotely 95% of the time within Florida.
