Electrical Engineering Design Specialist

About the Role

Develop complex electrical designs for power systems, master plans, renewable energy, and facility systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support proposal development, and engage with clients to understand their electrical needs.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical drawings and perform system calculations
• Support power studies and conduct site reviews
• Update design documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff
• Design and refine electrical systems, including power distribution and renewable energy systems
• Perform technical studies and site assessments
• Support proposal development and client engagement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering
• Expertise in CAD software, electrical principles, and calculations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing power systems for various facilities
• Experience conducting power system studies
